OUR VISION OFFERING
Our vision as a church is to make disciples who make disciples. We gather together in the knowledge that our hope is Jesus, our way is discipleship, our strength is in community and our mission is to love.
Your giving and generosity helps make all this happen.
All giving will help resource our vision by providing the funds needed for us to meet the general running costs of C3 YRKS which includes the development of our ministries, the renting and equipping of facilities to gather weekly in Leeds (which includes our offices) and in York, the production of our online services and media, as well as the cost of operations (staffing).
On 11th May 2022 we hosted an Annual Review on Zoom during which we talked about how we are doing as a church post-pandemic and giving an insight into our finances both past and present. You can watch the recording here.
VISION GOAL:
Our goal is to increase our giving by an additional £65,000 this year through new tithes and a vision offering to which you can give a single or monthly gift.
OPTION 1: THE TITHE
Tithing is not an offering but a spiritual discipline that is spoken of throughout scripture. It’s also referred to as the ‘First Fruits’. Tithe simply means ‘tenth’ and the principle is that we bring the ‘first fruits’, a tenth of all our income and give it to God as part of our worship. (Proverbs 3:9-10, Malachi 3:10, Hebrews 7:4-8)
The Tithe is a key part of a disciple’s life. It recognises that all we have belongs to Jesus. As we bring him the first fruits, we honour and worship him above all else. (Luke 14:27-33)
OPTION 2: A ONE-OFF OFFERING
The Bible speaks of not just Tithes but also offerings. If the Tithe represents our obedience to God, our offerings represent our generosity to Him. If you are already tithing, this is your opportunity to bring a one-off offering above and beyond what you normally give with the sole purpose of blessing God’s house. (Malachi 3:10, Acts 4:32-35)
OPTION 3: A MONTHLY VISION OFFERING
A Monthly Vision Offering is a regular gift, in addition to your Tithe or any one-off offerings, specifically given for the purpose of helping us fund our vision.
This level of giving recognises the principle of the seed. In the same way that we sow seeds expecting a harvest, we can sow our money too. When we sow generously, God tells us to expect to see a harvest (2 Corinthians 9:6). Our vision is to see our churches filled with disciples making disciples. As we sow into our vision, let us sow in faith for God to move and propel His Church into our future.
OPTION 4: A PLEDGE
As an alternative to (or in combination with) a Monthly Vision Offering, you may wish to make a Pledge. This might be for various reasons but it is based on the knowledge that you will be able to give a one-off gift (or a number of gifts) at a certain time in the year.
We ask that pledges are only used by those who are confident they will be in a position to redeem their pledge, and fully committed to doing so, before the end of the financial year.
Pledges have been used in the past as an option to declare a ‘faith’ goal. However, we recommend you consider a monthly gift as a way of stretching your faith, rather than aiming for a ‘bigger’ figure in the future that may or may not be redeemed.

HOW TO GIVE
Please complete the form below and click SUBMIT to let us know your giving plans. This will be sent to our Finance Department and to Mary Tailby, the C3 YRKS Finance Administrator.
Please then read the information here with regards how to redeem each option chosen. Mary Tailby (office@c3yrks.church) will be available to help set up monthly giving if you are unsure how to do this.

HOW TO SET UP A NEW TITHE
To set up a new tithe you can either:
1. Give by Direct Bank Transfer: using the bank details below or through our Online Giving option.
2. Set up a Standing Order: Recommended for those with a regular income, using the bank details below.

HOW TO GIVE A ONE-OFF OFFERING
You can simply give a one-off offering by Direct Bank Transfer to the below bank account details or use our Online Giving option using the button.

HOW TO SET UP MONTHLY GIVING
To set up a vision monthly offering you can either:
1. Set up a Standing Order: You an do this very easily through your banks online banking App. Use the below bank details. (Recommended as this is a free service).
2. Give a ‘Recurring Gift’: Select ‘Recurring Giving’ when giving through our Online Giving. (Be sure to choose Vision Offering from the dropdown box).

HOW TO MAKE A PLEDGE
Pledges can be redeemed by any of the options mentioned here and should be redeemed in full by 31st March 2022.
