It’s finally happening!!
One of the most important parts of the Christian life has been missing from our community – the opportunity to gather together and worship our Lord and Saviour – Jesus Christ.
On Sunday 25th July we have another opportunity to gather safely and give Jesus the praise that He deserves!
There really is no other name that is higher, no other name that deserves our praise. And if there is one thing that will break the power of fear and anxiety that hangs over our nation right now, it is the name of Jesus lifted up on the praises of His people!
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
This special 1 hour service will be an opportunity for us to worship and pray together as a community of believers. They will take place at the LIFE Church Leeds venue on Kirkstall Road, who have kindly opened their doors to help us get back to in-person services. Their venue is a covid-secure environment that makes it easy to maintain social distancing.
Plus we have plans to re-open normal services in September. More details to follow soon.
For details about car parking, COVID-secure measures and the plan for kids, see the important notes below.
But the most important detail is please register a free ticket if you are intending to come. You can just turn up on the day, but due to covid-restrictions on venue capacity, we can only guarantee a seat to those pre-registered.
We can’t wait to see you!
Please note: our online Sunday service will continue each week as normal throughout the summer.
CAR PARKING: Please make sure to give yourself plenty of time to arrive and park. There is free parking at the venue, as well free on-street car parking. There is a large car park opposite the church building which will cost £2 to park should all the free spaces be taken up. Our stewards will be available outside the building to help you find a space.
CHILDREN: This will be a family service where we will worship all together. However, our kids team will be on hand with activity packs to help keep children entertained at their seats should they need it – please register your child so we can be prepared. For those with toddlers and babies there is a baby room which has viewing windows onto the main auditorium for your comfort, should you require,
REFRESHMENTS: The service will start promptly at 3:00pm with doors open from 2:30pm with free refreshments available. The service is only 1 hour and will finish around 4:00pm. Refreshments will be available afterwards too.
COVID-SECURE: Whilst we look forward to restrictions no longer being required, we appreciate that we are still at a delicate time of change for us as a nation. Therefore we have made a decision that as a leadership team, we will personally continue to wear a face covering whilst inside the building for this event. Chairs will also remain spaced out to allow for some social distancing.
For everyone else, face coverings will not be mandatory and we will leave it to those attending to make their own decision as to whether or not to wear a mask.
Singing, however, will be permitted and we hope to raise the roof in praise once more to our King!
We recommend you bring your own mask, but there will be some available in the entrance hall, along with hand sanitiser should you need them.
TICKETS: You do not need to bring your tickets on the day as we will have a record of your registration.
To help prepare for the right number of people at the service and in order to comply with COVID restrictions, please register your attendance for free via our online registration page.
