The remaining balance of the registration cost is due by Sunday 4th June. Please send any remaining balance in one payment and make sure it is clearly reference as per above.

If your reservation is not fully paid by this date then you may find your reservation is cancelled and any payments made, less the deposit, are refunded to allow for any one on a waiting list to take the space.

Cancellations before 4th June 2023 can receive a full refund of any payments made, less the £20 deposit. No refunds will be made on or after 5th June 2023, although it may be possible to transfer your registration to another person.

If you have a purchased a Bedding Pack during registration, these will be provided for you on the day. These can be purchased at a later date. Details on how to do this will be sent out nearer the time.

VENUE

The venue for our weekend away is the JONAS CENTRE near Leyburn, a Christian residential centre and holiday venue in the Yorkshire Dales. It’s a beautiful place, set aside for resting, seeking and engaging with God.

The centre is approximately 1hr 20mins from the centre of Leeds and York and 1hr 10mins from the centre of Harrogate.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

The price of the weekend includes accommodation and food as outlined below.

Adults – £89
Students (in full time education) – £50
Youth (11 – 17s) – £50
Children (0 – Primary School age) – Free

Family Registration – £260
includes 2 adults and up to 4 youth from the same family

Bed Packs are available as an Add-On for £10 per person.

To book a bedding pack, simply select the option during registration. One pack is sufficient for one person / one single bed.

Closing date for bookings is Sunday 21st May 2023.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will be in Shared Log Cabins that sleep between 4 and 6 people depending on whether you are single, a couple or a family.

Each cabin consists of a main bedroom that sleeps 2 (a double bed or twin beds), a second bedroom that sleeps 3 (1x bunk beds and 1x single bed), a lounge area with possible sofa bed option, a shared bathroom and a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave.

Please note that you WILL need to share a cabin with other people. For example; if single you will need to share a twin room or bunk bed with another person(s) of the same gender; couples will share a cabin with other couples or young families; families with small children will need to share a room together in a cabin.

Cots are available but it might be necessary to bring an airbed or cots for young children to sleep in the same room as parents.

Accommodation is limited and the number we can accommodate will be dependent on the different variables associated with housing singles, couples and families in a limited number of Log Cabins. We have various safeguarding criteria which we also need to apply. So early booking to guarantee a place is essential.

BEDDING & TOWELS

To keep costs down, bedding covers and towels are not provided by the Jonas Centre. Each bed comes with a mattress cover, 2 pillows and a single duvet but delegates are required to either bring their own covers (ie. 1x single bottom sheet, 2x pillow cases, 1x single duvet cover) or purchase a Bed Pack for £10 per bed/person which includes all these items.

You may also bring a sleeping bag instead of bringing covers, although we recommend you at least bring a pillow case.

Bedding Packs can be purchased on registration, or at a later date. Packs must be purchased by 11th June to ensure availability.

To book a bedding pack, simply select the option during registration. One pack is sufficient for one person / one single bed.

No towels are provided or available for purchase. All delegates should bring their own.

CHILDREN

Children who are in Primary School or younger can be registered for free but must be accompanied by a full paying parent or guardian and remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian throughout the weekend.

C3 Kids will be available during ministry meetings.

Accommodation: Children will need to stay in the same room as their parent or guardian in either a cot, on an airbed or sharing a bed with other siblings. We will discuss and figure out the best arrangements on registration with you. If you would like to share a cabin with another family or couple, please get in touch with us prior to registration in order to ensure that it is possible. See the accommodation tab for a breakdown of what each Log Cabin includes.

FOOD

Food will be provided throughout the weekend consisting of:

Friday Evening – a light meal together on arrival

Saturday – breakfast, lunch and dinner

Sunday – breakfast and a light lunch

Details are subject to change but the above can be considered a rough guide.

Please ensure you provide any dietary requirements on your registration to ensure that any special needs are taken into account prior to the event. We can not guarantee special dietary requirements on the day if not provided at registration.

Each accommodation does have a kitchenette that includes a fridge and microwave, so you are able to bring your own snacks and/or specific food items for yourselves or your children and cater for these in your cabin.

TRAVEL

The Jonas Centre is best accessed by car (although access by a combination of train, bus and taxi is possible, but would take around 3 hours).

Whilst we cannot guarantee it, if you do not have access to a car we will do our best to connect you with people attending who have spaces.

Please indicate when registering if you think you may have spaces in a car available or if you would need a car space allocating, if available.

OTHER INFORMATION

Parking:
There is ample car parking on site. Cars and their contents are parked on the site at their own risk.

Accessibility: 
Most of the site is accessible to all, but please note that it is spread across a wide area and over different levels. So please get in touch with us first if you have any specific queries or concerns so we can best advise what will be possible.

Alcohol:
Alcohol is allowed on the premises, but as this is a church weekend away we do ask that delegates drink responsibly and in moderation. Drunken behaviour will not be accepted on site and may result in you being asked to leave.

Drugs:
Drugs (other than prescription medicines) and any other substance abuse is not permitted at all on site and will result in you being asked to leave.

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted in any of the cabins or buildings or in the main gathering areas outside. If you do need to smoke then we ask that you do not smoke near where people, especially children, are gathering.

Children who are up to and including primary school age go free.

Please note that accommodation will be shared. You may have to share a room with your children or other people of the same gender as you. Although accommodation is log cabins, you should consider this a camping trip!

Bedding Packs can be purchased separately for £10 otherwise you are requested to bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. More details on our above.
